Fern Lifecycle
Much like the diagram above states the life-cycle of a fern start out with a mature sporophyte having its Sporangium release spores in meiosis, theses spores (gametes) mature to a point in which they are ready to be fertilized when the Antheridium releases its sperm and fertilizes the egg creating a zygote in the Archeogonium. Then the new sporophyte is "made" and in time it will grow to maturity and the cycle will repeat itself
