Solanum lycopersicum or tomatoes are fleshy fruits that fall into the angiosperm category because it is a flowering plant. Its seeds are easily eaten along with its flesh to be deposited elsewhere after its eaten by an animal or dies and falls off the plant. Its flowers allow for small birds and insects to transfer pollen between plants to keep the genetic variation high as to not allow the plant to be wiped out by one parasite/disease.
